Amanda Withers, chief financial officer and senior vice president for operations at Sam Houston State University, has been named a 2026 Montgomery County/North Houston Trailblazer by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
The annual recognition honors exceptional women whose professional accomplishments, visionary leadership and commitment to their communities are making a meaningful impact across the region. Trailblazers are recognized for breaking barriers, inspiring others and helping create opportunities for future generations of women.
Withers will be honored at the chamber’s annual Montgomery County/North Houston Summit for Women on Thursday, Nov. 12, at Lone Star College in The Woodlands.
