Due to significant interest in the I-14 Central Texas Corridor Study after a highly-attended third round of public meetings, the TxDOT Bryan District is extending the deadline to submit comments.
Comments received or postmarked by Monday, October 12, 2026 will be made part of the public record for Round 3. The original deadline was Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Six in-person open houses were held August 11-26, 2026. More than 1,300 people attended the meetings in Hearne, Cameron, Bryan, Navasota, Huntsville and Madisonville. It is a more than 200 percent increase in turnout from the second round open houses (held Summer 2024) to the third.
Comments must be received or postmarked by Monday, October 10, 2026, to be included in the official public meeting record summary and may be submitted via:
