We’re a local radio station serving Willis, Lake Conroe, and Huntsville, and we’re looking for an outside sales rep to help local businesses grow through the power of radio. This isn’t a call-center job, and it isn’t a corporate ad-sales gig — it’s a chance to build real relationships with the shop owners, restaurants, and small businesses that make this community what it is, and get paid well for doing it.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and build relationships with local small businesses in the Willis and Lake Conroe area
- Sell on-air advertising, sponsorships, O&O digital, and promotional packages tailored to each client’s goals
- Develop and manage your own book of business
- Represent the station at community events, ribbon cuttings, and local happenings
- Deliver great customer service so clients renew and refer
Who We’re Looking For
- A motivated self-starter who doesn’t need to be micromanaged to get results
- Someone who genuinely loves radio and has a soft spot for classic hits and country music
- A people person who’s plugged into — or wants to be plugged into — the Willis/Lake Conroe community
- Someone who treats local business owners like neighbors, not accounts
- Reliable transportation and the drive to be out in the community, not behind a desk
- Prior sales experience is a plus, but heart, hustle, and a love of this community matter more
Compensation
Straight 17% commission on collections. No cap on what you can earn — your income grows as fast as you build your book of business.
