The Courier of Montgomery County reports that the Players Theatre Company, in celebration of Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary, will present a special limited-engagement production of the Tony Award-winning musical “1776.” Through patriotic music, sharp wit and compelling drama the show brings to life the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
It all happens at the Owen Theatre in downtown Conroe at 225 Metcalf Street.
Performances are:
Friday and Saturday, June 26th and 27th, at 7:30 PM.
Sunday, June 28th, at 2 PM.
Friday and Saturday, July 4th, at 7:30 PM.
Sunday, July 5th, at 2 PM.
