Community Impact reports that structural repairs at Conroe’s Fire Station No. 5 and a new fill station and compressor for Fire Station No.8 were approved contractually by the Conroe City Council on April 9th.
Regarding Fire Station No. 5, the Council approved a contract for complete structural repairs from Crowned Eagle Construction for $79,988. The city staff found deeper issues while addressing mold in the station’s evidence room, according to Fire Chief Paul Sims.
