In our recent conversation with Huntsville Mayor Russell Humphrey, we explored a number of important aspects of the city of Huntsville. We asked him, in regard to tourism, “What basic attractions does our city have that have proven most important?” He first commented on the benefits of the Sam Houston statue as a major tourist draw.
