The City of Huntsville has several things planed for the month of March. Administrative/Recreation Coordinator Kristy Wheeler stopped by the news room to update us on some of them.
The City of Huntsville Parks and Leisure Department is partnering with Major League Baseball to host the Pitch, Hit and Run event. Kids ages 7 to 14 will have the opportunity to showcase their baseball or softball skills and compete for a chance to advance through three levels of competition, including Team Championships and the Finals during MLB All-Star Week.
Participants must register online and bring their birth certificate or a copy on the day of the event to be eligible to compete. For detailed information about the competition, contact Kristy Wheeler at 936-294-5721.
