In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days.
On Friday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2600 block of El Toro. An unknown suspect committed theft by deceptive means in the 3000 block of State Highway 30 West. A vehicle was burglarized in the 3000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 2500 block of Lake Road, a known suspect and known juvenile suspect assaulted two victims. Isaac Goldsmith was arrested for theft in the 100 block of I-45 South.
On Saturday, a known suspect assaulted a person in the 300 block of 7th Street. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. In the 600 block of Hayman Street, a known suspect assaulted a family member–Suspect transported to Huntsville Memorial.. Property was stolen in the 1600 block of Jessica Street. An unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a firearm in the 1200 block of Cresthill. In a case of aggravated assault, at Sycamore and 11th Street, a known suspect pointed a firearm at a victim. In a case of aggravated assault with a vehicle at State Highway 75 South and Old Phelps, an unknown suspect intentionally struck a motorcycle and fled the scene. In the 1200 block of Sam Houston, a known suspect assaulted a person.
On Sunday, a known suspect sexually assaulted a victim in the 500 block of FM 2821 West. A theft was investigated in the 2800 block of Lake Road. In the 1200 block of Josey, an unknown suspect struck a scooter with their vehicle and fled and failed to render aid. In a commercial burglary, an unknown suspect entered multiple units and stole property in the 7100 block of State Highway 75 South. Kayla Luter was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 300 block of State Highway 19. Kayla Carr was arrested for possession of marijuana at the same address. In the 1000 block of MLK Drive, Kaneal Morries was arrested for municipal warrants, failure to ID and resisting arrest.
