The ultimate goal for the founder and director of Tomorrow’s Promise Montessori School, Kaye Boehning, is to provide free books to children. She’s made it her mission through participation in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Friday February 6th the Sweetheart Showdown is happening as her latest fundraising event to promote local literacy.
The newlywed-style game, the Sweetheart Showdown is a game in which couples test how well they actually know each other. According to Boehning, couples will be randomly selected from three mini-rounds to go into competition for a $500 grand prize. Each round winners will move ahead to the Sweetheart Showdown Final. It is at that point that they’ll compete on stage for cash and the right to brag as the 2026 Sweetheart Champions.
The event will offer a Texas Roadhouse ribeye steak dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls and sweet and unsweet tea.
Get tickets for $60 per person, $100 per couple or $350 for a table of eight at yourimagination.info.
