In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, a possibly known suspect stole property in the 2500 block of Lake Road. In the 1200 block of Josey Street, Reginald James Cardell was arrested on felony warrants out of Trinity County. At Star Circle and Sam Houston Avenue, Kyron Jones was arrested for an HPD warrant for theft of mail. Christopher Vasquez was arrested for evading arrest in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue.
On Friday, in a commercial burglary, a contractor removed copper wire scrap from a construction site. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 2900 block of Old Houston Road. In the 1200 block of Josey Street, Rikeven Riles was arrested for assault in family violence. In the 1300 block of Smither Drive, Madison King was arrested for possession of marijuana.
On Saturday, an assault case was investigated in the 200 lock of Lake Ridge. Property was reported stolen in the 400 block of Brunch. In the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, Robert Moody was arrested for assault in family violence. In the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, Stephanie Merchant was arrested for assault in family violence and resisting arrest.
On Sunday, known suspects assaulted one another on Howard Circle. In the 600 block of State Highway 19, Jordan Bridges was arrested for reckless driving, evading and possession of inhalation parphernalia. In the 1000 block of 12th Street, Stephanie Zapatero was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
