In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, in the 2000 block of 20th Street, unknown suspects burglarized a vehicle and utilized another vehicle without consent. In the 500 block of FM 2821, police were called to a fight in progress—a male and female were engaged in the fight. In the 2000 block of Lake Road, in a case of aggravated assault, a known suspect brandished scissors at the victim. In the 2200 block of Sam Houston, a possibly known suspect assaulted a victim.
On Friday, in the 1300 block of Avenue E, a known suspect discharged a firearm at a victim. Police investigated a case of criminal mischief where property was damaged in the 900 block of Thomason. In a case investigated in the 500 block of FM 2821, a known suspect sent harmful images to minors. In the 900 block of Thomason Street, Gordon Brandow was arrested for assault of a family member and on a Montgomery County warrant. In the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Frankie Brown was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On Saturday, in a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 2100 block of Sycamore Avenue. In the 2500 block of Sycamore Avenue, Charles McGary was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, Edward Kelley was arrested for possession of marijuana and traffic offenses.
On Sunday, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a firearm in the 2500 block of Lake Road. In a fight in progress call, in the 200 block of I-45 South, Nickerrya Simpson was arrested for public intoxication. In a disturbance in the 1300 block of State Highway 75 North, Andres Zavala was arrested for evading arrest with priors, resisting arrest, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. In the 2100 block of Avenue O, Jamie Driggers was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and traffic offenses.
