In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days . . . .
On Friday, an unknown suspect forced entry into a business and took property in the 1300 block of 15th Street. In a theft in the 100 block of I-45 South, a known suspect stole property and fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. In the 1000 block of US 190, an unknown suspect forced entry into a business and stole property. In the 3000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a known suspect evaded detention on a motorcycle. In the 600 block of I-45 North, Robert Chick was arrested on a TDCJ warrant. Halee Kestler was arrested on 2 credit/debit card abuse warrants in the 2700 block of Bois D’Arc Drive. At the 109 mile marker on I-45 Northbound, Jonathan Luis Gonzales and Nicholas James Willery were arrested for racing on highway.
On Saturday, a known suspect stole money in the 100 block of FM 247. In the 100 block of Ross Street, a known suspect assaulted another causing injury. In the 2900 block of Mimosa Lane, known suspects entered a habitation without consent. In the 500 block of Nan Way, a known suspect assaulted his girlfriend. An unknown suspect assaulted a person by offensive touch in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 1100 block of Avenue N, unknown suspects stole a person’s medication. At the 100 mile marker on I-45 Northbound, Markus Charles Vannetty was arrested for possession of marijuana. In the 100 block of Ross Street, Jerry Miller and Davonta Richardson were arrested for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault.
On Sunday, a vehicle struck a UPD marked patrol vehicle with no injuries reported. A truck tractor was reported stolen in the 600 block of Highway 75 North. A possibly known suspect stole property in the 1000 block of 12th Street. A sexual assault was reported in the 800 block of Boettcher Mill Drive. In the 100 block of Ross Street Davonta Richardson was arrested for assault in family violence.
On Monday, in the 600 block of I-45, an unknown suspect burglarized several vehicles. In the 5000 block of Sam Houston, Jamell Wilson was arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon and possession of marijuana.
