In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
On Friday, in a report from the 3200 block of Old Houston Road, an unknown suspect used a victim’s identifying information. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1000 block of MLK. John David Maynard was arrested for assault by offensive touch in the 2300 block of Avenue M.
On Saturday, two unknown suspects entered a business in the 200 block of I-45 South and stole property. In the 2300 block of Sam Houston Avenue, a possibly known suspect stole property. In the 100 block of University Drive, Kyjuan Utley was cited and released for drug paraphernalia. In the 100 block of Ross Street, Jakiah Nauls was arrested for tampering, unlawful carrying of a weapon, resisting, interfering and assaulting a peace officer. At 2 Financial Plaza, Shonqueral Stanley was arrested for resisting arrest, and assault on a peace officer.
On Sunday, a known suspect assaulted a person in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 3400 block of Old Houston Road, family members assaulted one another. In the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks, two known suspects touched one another in an offensive manner. In a case of aggravated assault in the 200 block of Wanza Road, a known suspect pointed a firearm at the complainant. In the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Izaiah Ybarra was arrested for public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Reynolds Cummings was arrested for theft with 1 previous conviction.
