In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, a vehicle burglary was investigated in the 1900 block of Normal Park. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 400 block of Evergreen Drive. In the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks, an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence. An unknown suspect stole utility equipment in the 2200 block of West Green Briar. In the 2400 block of Montgomery Road, an unknown suspect forced entry into a residence and stole property. A known person assaulted another in the 500 block of FM 2821.
On Friday, in a case of criminal mischief, an unknown suspect damaged property in the 2500 block of Sam Houston. A known person assaulted another in the 1200 block of Trinity Cut Off. In a vehicle burglary in the 100 block of I-45 South, an unknown suspect entered a person’s vehicle and stole a dog. In the 2500 block of Avenue M, Khloe Simpson was arrested for assault in family violence. In the 3000 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Dylan Jones was cited and released for possession of drug paraphernalia. At 13th Street and Sam Houston Avenue, Brandi Lashell Straughter was arrested for possession of marijuana.
On Saturday, in the 1300 block of Smither Drive, an unknown suspect damaged a person’s vehicle and stole property. In the 300 block of U-S 190 a known suspect assaulted another person with a deadly weapon. In the 2500 block of Lake Road, Jamarques Javon Watson was arrested for municipal court warrants and resisting arrest. In the 100 block of Essex, Katavion Jaquan Riles was arrested on an HPD warrant for robbery.
On Sunday, in the 1500 block of 11th Street, several known suspects assaulted a person. A sexual assault was reported in the 500 block of FM 2821 West. A known suspect threatened a person in the 100 block of Brookside Drive. Known family members assaulted each other in the 2500 block of Lake Road.
On Monday, known suspects assaulted one another in the 1300 block of Smither Drive. A known suspect threatened another person in the 900 block of University. A known suspect and an unknown suspect assaulted each other in the 2300 block of Sam Houston. Herman Dewalt was arrested for theft of a firearm in the 1300 block of Avenue E.
