KBTX 3 reports that former Huntsville ISD head football coach and athletic director Rodney Southern has been hired by Copperas Cove ISD for the same position.
In Februrary, Southern stepped down from the Huntsville position.
He compiled an 80-46 record through 11 seasons. He coached the Hornets to three district championships.
