In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past few days:
On Monday, in the 1200 block of Goodrich Drive, Brenda Zavala was arrested for criminal mischief, and two Walker County warrants. A computer was stolen in the 1400 block of Sam Houston Avenue.
On Tuesday, in a criminal trespass case, an unknown suspect damaged property in the 1200 block of 10th Street. Three thefts of merchandise were reported—two in the 200 block of I-45 South and one in the 100 block of I-45 South. In the 2000 block of Sam Houston Avenue Renekka Barlow was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released. In the 2800 block of Lake Road, Stephen Lawayne Park was arrested for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.
On Wednesday, in the 100 block of Memorial Hospital Drive a known suspect assaulted hospital staff. A possibly known suspect threatened a person in the 500 block of FM 2821 West. A theft was reported in the 200 block of I-45 South. In the 100 block of Town & Country, an unknown suspect stole mail. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 2100 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 100 block of Heaton Avenue, Shane Nelson was arrested for assault in family violence. Shyan Spikes and Mallory Bruno were arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 100 block of Lakeside Drive. In the 3000 block of Highway 30, Demontray Hightower was arrested for an out-of-state aggravated assault warrant. Jason Hutto was arrested in the 2400 block of Sam Houston Avenue for 911 abuse.
