In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past few days:
On Thursday, in the 200 block of Highway 75 North, a known suspect damaged property and allegedly assaulted a person. In a case of aggravated assault, two known and one unknown suspect threatened a person while displaying a firearm in the 2000 block of Raven Terrace. A residential burglary was investigated in the 3600 block of Boettcher Drive. A firearm was reported stolen in the 2200 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In the 200 block of I-45 South, Charles Bacon Jr. was arrested for trespassing, possession of a dangerous drug, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and resisting arrest.
On Friday, Huntsville PD recovered a stolen vehicle and a firearm in the 600 block of Highway 75 North. The stolen vehicle was from Hardin County. Huntsville PD assisted the Sheriff’s Office in a shooting investigation at 100 Memorial Hospital Drive. In the 300 block of Fallow Deer Drive, Michael Anthony Calico was arrested on a Walker County Warrant and an HPD warrant for assault to cause bodily injury.
On Saturday, in an assault in family violence case in the 600 block of Hayman Street, a known suspect touched a family member in an offensive manner. In the 800 block of Birmingham Street, John Wesley Sillette was arrested for assault. In the 1400 block of Sycamore Avenue, Latravious Jackson was arrested for possession of marijuana. In the 2800 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Jayme Hoyt was arrested for criminal trespass.
On Sunday, police investigated a vehicle burglary in the 3000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A known suspect was reported to have assaulted a person in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A firearm was located in the 200 block of I-45 South, and secured by the police department. An unknown suspect damaged a vehicle in the 2500 block of Pine Shadows Drive. A known suspect impeded the breath of a person in the 100 block of Dee Lane. Known suspects endangered a child in the 100 block of Elmwood. Several vehicle burglaries were investigated in the 900 block of Thomason. Jack Ryan Baker was arrested for DWI and unlawful carrying of a weapon in the 2100 block of Sam Houston Avenue. At Houston Road and Sam Houston, Sierra Raquel Johnson was arrested for an HPD warrant for assault. Michael Joseph Lake was arrested for DWI and possession of a controlled substance at 19th Street and Sam Houston Avenue.
