A couple of things are happening in Huntsville this weekend. The HEARTS Veterans Museum invites all veterans to their Monthly Veterans Breakfast this Saturday. It’s free. Veterans can join other veterans in conversation over a lot of available coffee and a good meal. Veterans can also find out about resources available because of your service.
And, don’t forget about Chili at the Lodge. This event gets underway at 9 AM Saturday at Josey Park at the Josey Scout Lodge in Huntsville. Those interested can sample six chilis for $5 from 11 AM to 3 PM. If you’re a first responder, you get a free tasting kit. It’s an event for the family that offers local entertainers, world champion chili, local business vendors and a Huntsville Rotary Beer Garden. The proceeds of the event go to the preservation of the historic Josey Lodge.
