Fox News reports that the suspect who allegedly drove into a crowd of new year celebrators In New Orleans Wednesday has been identified as Shamsud Din Jabbar by the FBI. He killed 15 people and injured dozens of others.
Jabbar was a U-S citizen who lived in Texas. He died at the scene of the attack. The FBI does not believe the suspect acted alone.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday a Tesla Cybertruck exploded in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. The explosion killed one person and injured seven others. FBI agent Jeremy Schwartz would not identify the person inside the vehicle because of lack of proper identification. Schwattz said the FBI considers the Las Vegas explosion an isolated incident.
