At this week’s Walker County Commissioners Court session, commissioners considered the purchase of the Guardian RFID inmate tracking system.
Jail Captain John Davila explained to commissioners.
He added right now you have to go into his office for a download and the system is confusing.
The price is $14,000 this year and $13,200 next year.
Commissioners approved the purchase.
