In Huntsville Police news, going back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, a vehicle was reported stolen in the 2300 block of Avenue M. A residential burglary was investigated in the 300 block of Rigsby Road. An unknown person used a firearm during the commission of an assault in the 1200 block of Josey Street. Jamarque Javon Watson was arrested for criminal mischief in the 2500 block of Lake Road.
On Friday, in a case of criminal mischief, a vehicle was damaged in the 100 block of I-45 South. Several vehicle burglaries were reported in the 7000 block of State Highway 75 South. In four separate accidents involving two vehicles each time, on 11th Street, Josey Street and two on I-45 South, one of the drivers fled the scene. James Murray was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
On Saturday, an unknown suspect took property without making payment in the 200 block of I-45 South. In the 700 block of Circle Drive, Danielle O’Bryant was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and on a parole warrant.
On Sunday, Myron Evans Johnson was arrested for trespassing in the 1000 block of MLK.
On Monday, in the 1300 block of Avenue B an unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property. An unknown person was reported to have stolen a pistol in the 1700 block of 11th Street. A person was assaulted by an unknown person in the 600 block of Highway 75 North. HPD assisted DPS with a money laundering arrest on I-45 South. Property was damaged in a case of criminal mischief in the 100 block of Estill Avenue. In the 1300 block of Smither Drive, Taylor Alexandria Warren was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest and harassment of a public servant. In the 300 block of State Highway 19 South, Monique Contreras was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
