Reconstruction and widening from two to four lanes from 10th Street to South Loop 336 is underway for Highway 105. The project was 34% completed on November 1st. Construction will continue through the third quarter of 2027 at a cost of 52.35 million.
I-45 is undergoing a northbound ramp reversal between FM 830 and FM 1097 in Willis. It was 50% complete by the first of this month. Construction will continue through the second quarter of 2025 at a cost of $3.17 million.
Highway 105 is being widened and reconstructed from two to four lanes between South Loop 336 to FM 1484. On November 1st, it was 79% complete. Construction continues through the third quarter of 2026 at a cost of $89.71 million.
On Highway 242 between FM 1488 and I-45 in order to widen lanes and restripe the intersections, TxDOT is using the existing right of way. It was 37% complete on November 1st. Construction continues through the first quarter of 2026 at a cost of $29.11 million.
The construction of a flyover from Northbound I-45 to eastbound Highway 242 is being funded by Montgomery County commissioners and TxDOT. The project got the notice to proceed on October 2nd with an estimated completion date of September 15, 2026. Not specified was a date to begin work. The cost of construction is $19.1 million.
