In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Friday, a vehicle burglary was reported in the 2500 block of Lake Road. In the 2300 block of Gainous, multiple vehicles were entered and property stolen. In the 100 block of Hidden Valley Circle, an unknown suspect entered a vehicle and stole a firearm. In a case of deadly conduct in the 200 block of Highway 75 North, an unknown suspect discharged a firearm at a building. Two cases of criminal mischief property damage was reported, one in the 1600 block of Pine Street and the other in the 100 block of Avenue D. Charles Grigsby Jr. was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon in the 1600 block of Pine Street.
On Saturday, in the 200 block of State Highway 75 North, an unknown suspect discharged a firearm during a theft. At 13th and University, a person endangered his disabled child. Marco Zamudio was arrested for criminal trespass in the 2900 block of Old Houston Road. Yoana Granados was arrested for assault in family violence in the 3000 block of Manor Lane.
On Sunday, in the 200 block of Highway 75 North, an unknown suspect brandished a firearm during a theft. In an assault case in the 600 block of Highway 75 North, an unknown suspect threw a bottle at their victim. In the 2500 block of Lake Road, a known suspect assaulted a family member. A fight was reported between several individuals in the 2500 block of Sam Houston Avenue. In a case of criminal mischief, a known suspect damaged property in the 1900 block of American Legion.
On Monday, in a case of criminal mischief, a possibly known suspect damaged a person’s vehicle in the 2400 block of Montgomery. A terroristic threat was investigated in the 2600 block of El Toro. In the 600 block or I-45 North, Kayla Barnes-Zapata was arrested on a TDCJ parole warrant. In the 1500 block of Sam Houston Avenue, Humberto Avila was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
