In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, a commercial burglary by a possibly known suspect of a store in the 7000 block of State Highway 75 was investigated. A sexual assault was reported in the 2200 block of Hill Street. Money was reported stolen in the 400 block of Highway 75 North. A residential burglary was investigated in the 1000 block of El Road. In the 1000 block of MLK, Terry Riles was arrested for an HPD aggravated assault warrant. At a traffic stop in the 800 block of 9th Street Herman Dewalt was arrested for multiple traffic offenses and possession of marijuana. Timothy Griffin was arrested in the 1000 block of MLK for a warrant for HPD assault in bodily injury and bond revocation for assault in family violence.
On Friday, an unknown suspect entered a building and stole property in the 5000 block of Sam Houston Avenue. A theft was reported in the 3100 block of Old Houston Road. In a disturbance in the 200 block of I-45 South a person was assaulted. In an aggravated robbery in the 1600 block of 11th Street multiple unknown suspects robbed the victim while displaying a weapon. In the 9600 block of FM 1097, Amadeus Morin was arrested on 4 counts of theft of a firearm and 4 counts of possession of a firearm by a felon. Tyler Lewis was arrested for assault in the 7000 block of Highway 75 South.
On Saturday, in the 1100 block of Southwood Drive, an unknown suspect entered two vehicles and stole property. In the 600 block of Augusta an unknown suspect burglarized several vehicles. In the 1000 block of MLK, Angela Watkins was arrested for criminal trespass and public intoxication.
On Sunday, in an aggravated assault in the 1200 block of Goodrich, a known suspect allegedly brandished a weapon during an alleged assault. In the 100 block of Highway 30 East, a vehicle was reported stolen. In a disturbance in the 2800 block of Lake Road, a known person assaulted a victim. In a disturbance, in the 2000 block of Normal Park a known person assaulted a victim.
