Being able to stay operational during a power loss is essential to the operation of a hospital.
At this week’s meeting of the Walker Count Hospital District Board of Managers, Chief Financial Officer Mary Bevier updated the board regarding an additional generator for the hospital. They were fortunate to get a very good price on one, thanks to Entergy.
The cost was originally going to be around a million for it, but because of Entergy’s help it will be around half that cost.
