KBTX 3 reports that a TDCJ officer, Bryce Jefferson, is charged with smuggling contraband into a prison.
Back on March 8th, authorities say Jefferson was found to have a dozen cans of tobacco inside his uniform pants and jacket.
Officials checked out his car and discovered more cans there. He was arrested at the Huntsville Unit.
