In the Walker County Criminal District Attorney’s Office’s first trial of 2024, jurors convicted 75-year-old Juan Manuel Espinoza of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 14, as well as 11 additional counts of child sexual abuse. On January 18, 2024 at the end of the seven-day trial, 12th District Judge David Moorman granted the State’s Motion to Cumulate, making each sentence consecutive, and Espinoza was sentenced to 375 years confinement in TDCJ.
