Community Impact reports that on September 22nd Children’s Safe Harbor announced a groundbreaking on their new permanent home in Conroe in November. The organization is a nonprofit that makes available support and services for children who are victims of trauma or abuse.
The organization has a new branding and logo, with their tagline featured as “Justice, Healing Hope.”
During their recent luncheon this month, Executive Director of Children’s Safe Harbor, Victoria Constance, passed along that their group, as of 2023, has given help to 26,350 children throughout Montgomery, Walker and San Jacinto counties.
Planned construction will take 13 months to finish at their 17.6 acre location at 3006 North Loop 336 East in Conroe.
Their primary concentration will be on counseling, therapy, training and education.
