At this week’s regular session of the Huntsville City Council, one of the main things councilmembers focused on was the city’s budget and tax rate.
During the public hearing on the tax rate, City Finance Director Steve Ritter addressed the council:
Tuesday night, the council approved a tax rate of $0.3074 per $100 valuation.
The also approved the new budget for Fiscal Year 2023-24.
In regard to the budget, Councilmember Jon Strong passed along his compliments to Finance Director Steve Ritter, city employees and others.
