According to a report from KBTX Channel 3, DPS reported on Wednesday that two men lost their lives following a plane crash at Huntsville Municipal Airport.
The pilot has been identified by DPS as 20-year-old Ethan Bishop. The copilot was his father, 43-year-old Elijah Bishop.
The Cessna 150K took off around 11:45 AM, and for reasons not yet known, the plane crashed. One person was killed in the crash of the plane, the other died while being transported to the hospital.
The FAA is investigating. The National Transportation Safety Board will be on the scene today.
