At Monday’s regular Walker County Commissioners’ Court meeting, Tax Assessor-Collector Diana McCrae addressed commissioners on a Joint Election Agreement, countywide poll locations and voting schedules related to the November 7, 2023 election.
She informed commissioners, “The Joint Election Agreements for the November 7, 2023 election, which includes six other political subdivisions–it’s the standard agreement that we use during every election, with the exception of updating election dates and times.”
She also told commissioners, “Attachment B, which is the appointment of the election judges, will be brought back to court in August. Party chairs have until July 31st to submit their nominations.”
Commissioners approved the agreement.
