County Sheriff Clint McCrae addressed Walker County Commissioners on the overage of the jail overtime budget this week.
He addressed a couple of areas for the overtime need.

The second overtime issue regarded a specific inmate:
The inmate is scheduled to go to trial in around three weeks. The overtime costs specific to the inmate, having been incarcerated since December, has reached over $147,000 as of last week. Commissioners approved all of the needed overtime expense.
