The Courier of Montgomery County reports that since the first of the year, Montgomery County has given the okay to many new developments which include Lone Star Landing off FM 2854 near Honea Egypt Road and Montgomery Farms off FM 1486 south of Old Highway 105.
Lone Star Landing offer 62 new single-family homes while Montgomery Farms will bring 26 single-family lots on 27 acres.
Conroe’s assistant city administrator and director of community service, Nancy Mikeska, said there is also increased growth in the rental market in the city and county.
Ms. Mikeska referred to the Preserve at Conroe on Frazier Street which will offer 271 homes on 32 acres and the Villas at League Line on League Line Road which will have 183 homes on 22 acres. They are single-family rental projects.
Other projects include one by Provident Realty which will be developing 28 acres near I-45 and FM 3083 and another by Continental 710 Fund which is developing 16 acres off Drennan Road offering 288 two-story units with garages.
Cielo is being developed by the Woodlands-based Signorelli Company. The development will be on 261 acres and have 858 single-family lots just outside the city limits on Airport Road near FM 1484.
