You might have notice an improvement on the grounds of the courthouse lately in Huntsville.
In commissioner’s court Monday, Walker County Judge Colt Christian had a slide presentation on a flower garden addition to the courthouse recently.
Judge Christian said, “They had an estimated cost of $10,000.” He said, “Right now, we haven’t spent a penny.” He said, in regard to labor, “We’re going to use our labor.” County maintenance will take care of sprays and chemicals. There is money left in the Beautification Funds that may be used on this project.
Commissioners approved the beautification plans.
