The Conroe area continues to attract business growth. Community Impact reports that a new mental health hospital has opened in Conroe called Voyages. The facility is located at 1317 S. Loop 336 West in Conroe.
Interim director of business development for Voyages, Jason Jennings, said their hospital “will offer acute behavioral health care tailored for adults and seniors with medical comorbidities and complexities.” Cormorbidity means the simultaneous presence of two or more medical conditions in a patient. Jennings also said they will look at the needs in the community to see if they can serve in other areas in the future.
Community Impact also passes along that 105 Business Plaza is being developed by First Millennium Realty. Their plan is for a mix of office and retail space which would include around 15 tenants. It will be located at 14372 Texas 105 in Cut and Shoot. Building shells should be completed by the end of this month with businesses possibly moving in this summer.
Family First Care is expected to open there on July 1st. Other possible businesses include a bakery, pizza place and meat market.
