Volunteer work is alive and well in Huntsville, and several of those who volunteered for the Emancipation Park Build were honored at Tuesday evening’s Huntsville Council session.
Director of Parks and Leisure Penny Joiner addressed those at the session that, “Last year the City of Huntsville partnered with Kaboom and was awarded a grant through the Powell Foundation.”
Certificates of recognition were given out. Our hats off to the volunteers.
