We’ve got just the place for you!
We’re searching for a friendly, dependable team member to help keep our museum running smoothly. This is a part-time position, typically Monday-Friday (10AM-5:00 PM), but here and there, you’ll switch to Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 AM-5:00 PM) to help cover weekend shifts when needed as well as helping to cover events.
What you’ll be doing:
• Greeting guests and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
•Handling admissions, gift shop sales, and event ticketing
• Managing gift shop inventory and placing orders
• Assisting with social media updates and event promotions
• Making copies of brochures and helping distribute them around town (chamber, hotels, welcome centers, etc.)
• Supporting exciting events and fundraisers
• Assisting veterans and volunteers with whatever they need
• Helping keep the museum clean, tidy, and tour-ready Coordinating tours with schools and special groups
• Other duties may pop up — because no two days here are ever quite the same.
This job is fast-paced and hands-on. You’ll interact with a wide variety of people – including over 40 incredible volunteers, who bring the museum to life every day. So, if you’re someone who’s flexible, friendly, and great with all kinds of personalities, this could be a great fit!
