HUNTSVILLE, TEXAS — Football season is almost here, and listeners across the area can catch every big play live on the radio this fall. 101.7 KSAM and 94.1 & 104.9 The Lake have announced their 2026 football broadcast lineups, bringing hometown teams and top college action straight to local airwaves.
Huntsville Hornet Football — 101.7 KSAM
KSAM will carry Huntsville Hornet Football for an 88th consecutive year, continuing one of the longest-running high school broadcast traditions in Texas. The Hornets kick off their season on the road at Brenham on August 28th.
Texas A&M Football — 101.7 KSAM
KSAM is also bringing Texas A&M Football to listeners this season. The Aggies open their schedule at home against Missouri State on September 5th.
Coach’s Shows — 101.7 KSAM
Fans can get the inside scoop straight from the coaches all season long. The Hornet Nation Coach’s Show airs live Monday evenings at 7pm from Chick-fil-A in Huntsville, with a live stream also available on the KSAM YouTube channel. The Aggie Football Coach’s Show is tentatively set for Wednesday evenings at 8pm. Both shows will air live on 101.7 KSAM.
Willis Wildkat Football — 94.1 & 104.9 The Lake
94.1 & 104.9 The Lake is partnering with HSL to broadcast Willis Wildkat Football throughout the season. The Wildkats begin their season on August 28th at Magnolia.
