The City of Huntsville is exploring the possible development of a new Huntsville Entertainment District that could include a hotel, indoor waterpark, convention center, sports facility and entertainment center.
The city is asking residents, visitors and others with ties to the Huntsville area to complete a brief anonymous survey as part of the early planning process. The survey is being conducted by Hotel & Leisure Advisors, the city’s research partner for the project.
According to the city, the proposed district would be designed around recreation, entertainment and family fun. A link to the survey is on the City of Huntsville’s Facebook site.
