In Huntsville Police news looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, in the 1300 block of University, a known suspect tampered with a monitoring device. A theft was reported in the 1000 block of I-45 South. In the 600 block of I-45 North, Deven Edward Gordon was arrested for a parole violation warrant.
On Friday, a theft was investigated in the 600 block of Highway 75 North. In the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks Drive, an unknown suspect burglarized a vehicle and stole a handgun. At 13th and Sam Houston Avenue, Asyah Jaion Hill was arrested for possession of marijuana. Helena Argueta was arrested for assault in family violence in the 2200 block of Bobby K. Marks Drive.
On Saturday, in the 400 block of Monarch Street, a known suspect threatened a family member. In the 1000 block of Major, a vehicle and motorcycle were involved in an accident. The driver fled. An unknown suspect failed to stop and render aid. A residential burglary was investigated in the 1300 block of Heather Hill. Counterfeit money was secured as found property in the 400 block of State Highway 75 North. In the 100 block of Evans Lane, Elvin Herrera was arrested for assault in family violence.
On Sunday, a two-vehicle accident was reported in the 2700 block of 11th Street, one vehicle fled the scene. In a traffic stop at 300 State Highway 19, Kilver Adair Martinez Macias was arrested for possession of marijuana and tampering.
