In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the past several days:
Last Thursday, an assault was reported in the 100 block of I-45. Police investigated a case of harassment in the 2500 block of Lake Road. In the 1700 block of 11th Street, Princess Kara was arrested for possession of marijuana, tampering and unlawful carrying of a weapon. In the 1100 block of 11th Street, Shayla House was arrested for possession of marijuana, child endangerment and multiple warrants.
On Friday, two known suspects assaulted one another in the 900 block of University Avenue. Two thefts were reported—one in the 2600 block of Milam Street where a possibly known suspect stole the complainants payroll money and the other where property was stolen in the 100 block of I-45. In the 1600 block of Highway 75 North, an unknown suspect evaded police on a motorcycle. An unknown person damaged a vehicle in the 2000 block of 19th Street. A person was arrested for the possession of a dangerous drug at the 109 mile marker on I-45 Southbound.
On Saturday, a known suspect assaulted a person in the 200 block of I-45. Money was reported stolen in the 900 block of US 190. In a case of criminal mischief, property was damaged in the 1300 block of 19 ½ Street. Two unknown suspects were reported to have stolen property in the 1400 block of 7th Street. De’Aisha Keys was arrested for evading in a vehicle in the 1200 block of Avenue M. In the 100 block of Bolero Way Colby Pervis was arrested for aggravated assault.
On Sunday, a known suspect attempted to use a weapon to assault a person in the 2400 block of Montgomery Road. In the 2600 block of El Toro, a known suspect neglected an animal resulting in death and made a false report to a police officer. Sammie Lee Sanderson III was arrested for public intoxication, possession of marijuana and Montgomery County Warrants at Avenue N and 20th Street.
