The Huntsville Item reports that in order to identify crucial health issues affecting the residents of Walker County, Huntsville Memorial Hospital is at present conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment. Anyone who lives or works in Walker County or surrounding areas may participate in the survey.
If you have special knowledge about the needs of the community, the organization wants to hear from you. Feedback is being solicited on a number of areas related to the health of the community.
Comments will be kept confidential. The basic thrust of the survey is to improve the health of the community.
Prioritization of future collaboration, partnerships and community benefit planning will be the result of this gathering of information by HMH.
Once all information has been collected and reviewed, the entire report will be published on the Huntsville Memorial Hospital website.
