In Huntsville Police news, looking back over the weekend:
On Friday, in the 300 block of 16th Street, a known person assaulted a family member. At I-45 South and Montgomery Road, an unknown person’s vehicle struck a parked motorcycle and fled.
On Saturday, property was damaged at two locations in the 1400 block of Nottingham and in the 100 block of Pine Hill A vehicle was reported stolen in the 200 block of FM 980. In the 300 block of Highway 75 North, an unknown driver struck a bicycle and fled. At the same location, an unknown suspect failed to stop and render aid in a collision. In the 1300 block of Avenue E, a known suspect possibly pointed a firearm at a number of victims. An assault was reported in the 1500 block of 11th Street.
On Sunday, in the 300 block of US Highway 190 a vehicle was reported stolen. An aggravated assault was reported from the 100 block of Memorial Hospital Drive regarding an unknown suspect who shot an uncooperative victim. A vehicle burglary was investigated in the 300 block of Thornwood Way.
