Following the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge at the Port of Baltimore early
Tuesday morning, authorities at this point say they are ending rescue operations. They are now focusing on recovering the victims.
At least eight people on a bridge construction crew fell into the water as a big section of the bridge collapsed. Six people were presumed dead Tuesday evening.
The 985-foot Singapore freighter Dali lost power right shortly before it hit the bridge. The bridge was built in the 1970’s.
