ARLINGTON, Texas – (March 26, 2024) – The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards held its 14th Annual T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards on Monday, March 25,2024, at Texas Live! in Arlington, Texas. The live music awards show was hosted by KOKE-FM’s Eric Raines. Texas/Red Dirt Music royalty such as Pat Green, Kevin Fowler, Kylie Frey, Bri Bagwell, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, Lukas Nelson, and radio PDs from all over the country were in attendance to take home the bling.
The 14th Annual T3R Texas Regional Radio Texas Music Awards big artist winners were Aaron Watson who won Entertainer and Vocal Duo “Seven Year Ache” with Jenna Paulette, Bri Bagwell who won her 9th Female Vocalist of the Year award and Video of the Year for Trenches, Wade Bowen, who won Male Vocalist, Single and Song of the Year for his hit single “Lovin’ Not Leavin’”, and Randy Rogers Band, who won Band of the Year and Album for Homecoming.
The audience was treated to performances from Bri Bagwell, Kylie Frey, Jordan Rainer, Kevin Fowler, the Chad Cooke Band and Amanda Kate Ferris, David Adam Byrnes, 3-time GRAMMY winner Sunny Sauceda, Stephanie Urbina-Jones, Scotty Alexander, Love & Chaos, and Future Faces winner, Billie Jo Jones.
Radio winners included KOKE-FM/Austin, KRBL/Lubbock, KKCN/San Angelo, KYOX/Comanche, KQZQ/Wichita, KS, and UvaldeRadio.net.
Kevin Fowler received the newly created T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards Icon of the Year for his contributions of advancing the popularity of Texas country music with his successful songwriting, recording, touring, philanthropic contributions and for inspiring the future generations of Texas country artists. Arlington, Texas Mayor Jim Ross presented the Key to the City of the home of the World Champion Texas Rangers to Kevin Fowler as well.
Pat Green received the T3R Texas Music & Radio Humanitarian Award to commemorate a true Texas icon for his contributions to Texas country and his community with accolades and successes spanning nearly 30 years. The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards Humanitarian of the Year Award goes to those who selflessly give to others in need and this Texas country’s modern era founding father, Pat Green is no exception to that criterion whose benevolence through The Pat Green Foundation over the last 20 years qualified him for this prestigious honor. Mayor Jim Ross presented the Key to the City to Pat Green also.
The T3R Texas Music & Radio Awards featured a special presentation feature from Texas Latino artists. 3-time GRAMMY winner, Sunny Sauceda, Stephanie Urbina-Jones & the Honky Tonk Mariachi, bolero-mariachi singer, Willie Alvarado, Bri Bagwell, Matt Castillo, and Jenni Dale Lord who dazzled audiences with a hot and spicy melody of Latin classics.
