In Huntsville Police news, over the past few days:
On Saturday, a terroristic threat by phone was investigated in the 2600 block of Milam Street. A couple of thefts were investigated—one on Howard Circle and another in the 200 block of I-45 South. An assault was investigated in the 600 block of Hickory Drive. In a case of criminal mischief, a trailer was damaged in the 500 block of I-45 North. A vehicle was reported stolen in the 3400 block of Montgomery Road. In the 1500 block of 11th Street, John Holt was arrested for public intoxication, theft with two previous convictions, failure to I-D and resisting arrest. In the 100 block of I-45 South, Kenneth Dwayne Wright was arrested for five counts of theft of property with previous convictions.
On Sunday, a commercial burglary was investigated in the 100 block of I-45 South. In a case of aggravated assault in the 1900 block of American Legion Drive, a family member assaulted another family member. At the same address, a person pointed a handgun at the complainant.
On Monday, Cory Lee Shields was arrested in the 2800 block of Lake Road on two out-of-county warrants, possession of marijuana, public intoxication and failure to I-D, A stolen vehicle was recovered in the 3500 block of Montgomery Road.
