At the last Huntsville ISD Board of Trustees meeting, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and Operations Bill Roberts updated the board on all the aspects of 2021 Bond projects underway.
At one point he focused on the Mance Park Middle School project. The original building was constructed in the 1960’s. The final design repurposes the Support and Learning Center into classrooms and support spaces; updates the band suite; provides a new security vestibule; makes important renovations to the athletic facilities for incoming sixth-graders; redesigns the existing kitchen and cafeteria into locker rooms and a weight room and provides plans for tearing down the existing auditorium and constructing a new combined cafeteria, kitchen and stage facility.
He explained the importance of the Mance Park Middle School renovations by Prime Contractors.
