Children can “Read with the Dogs” Saturday, May 25th, at 10am at the R.F. Meador Branch Library in Willis. Children who read independently or with minimal help will read to specially trained therapy dogs. Each child may choose a library book or bring one from home. The library provides this opportunity through a partnership with Pets with a Mission, a local non-profit that improves literacy skills of children through the human-animal bond. Registration opens May 18th.

The Heritage Museum of Montgomery County in Conroe hosts an Intimate Gathering Series on a variety of topics with local interest.
