Field Day from thje Walker County Amatuer Radio Group

The Walker County Amateur Radio Group invites you to their annual field day on Saturday, June 24th from 9am to 2pm. During this event, you’ll see demonstrations of ham radio communications and your chance to talk on the radio. You’ll also see how this is not only a hobby, but also an important link that provides needed communication during local, statewide and national disasters. If you’ve ever been curious about ham radio this is your chance to learn all about it, and anyone interested, both young and old alike, are invited to attend.
