National Night Out has been a part of communities across the country for decades. Locally, in years past, it’s been held as a huge community get-together at Kate Barr Ross Park, and then for the last few years, at Bowers Stadium. This year, due to the pandemic, there won’t be any sort of central gathering place in Huntsville, but rather, it will be reverting to how this event started, as a neighborhood type event. National Night Out will be on Tuesday, October 6th, and for those neighborhoods wishing to take part, you can contact the Huntsville Police Department for assistance. For more information, call Officer David Warner at (936) 291-5480.
